Nothing beats receiving a handmade gift from your grandma, and there’s one Newfoundland dog who would wholeheartedly agree. Chewy and his 96-year-old Great Grandma share a very special bond, like what you see in children’s books, and every moment they spend together only deepens their connection.
As you’ll see in the following TikTok video, Grandma spent hours making @Chewythenewfie some new bunny ears for the upcoming Easter holiday. While she sits at the dining room table, carefully pinning and sewing the fabric pieces, the Newfie stands right next to her.
She says to him, “You’re going to be a bunny!” and it’s obvious the sweet pup is very curious about this “bunny” project. These two are like peas in a pod. Honestly, they just seem to mesh no matter what they are doing. Chewy adores his great-grandma, and the feeling is mutual.
